It started in my grandmother’s living room.
As a kid, I was endlessly curious about people. I’d watch how they moved, how they talked, what made their stories land – or not. My mom said I’d strike up conversations with total strangers, and she wasn’t wrong.
Sensing something in me, she enrolled me in a public speaking class. I still remember the nerves, the spotlight, the thrill of being seen – and heard. That spark never left me.
I found my way to the stage through theater, where I got to play, explore, and be bold. It gave me confidence, yes, but it also gave me a deep understanding of how uncomfortable (and vulnerable) it can be to stand up in front of a crowd.
From high school, where I was asked to help the teacher in drama class, to my days in Hollywood chasing stories on the biggest playground of them all – I’ve always been obsessed with the alchemy of communication. What makes us pay attention? What moves us to action?
Hollywood Was the Classroom
In film and television, storytelling isn’t optional. It’s oxygen. If your audience isn’t hooked in the first few seconds, they’re gone. I had to learn fast how to shape a message, direct emotion, use silence, and make every word count.
And somewhere in that journey, I had my aha moment:

That’s where Clear Communication Academy was born.

With a background in psychology, I became fascinated with what drives human behavior – how people make decisions, where attention goes, and why connection matters more than charisma.
Blending science, psychology, and the art of storytelling, I developed a signature method to help leaders and teams become magnetic communicators.
